DIY Chalk
Looking for a fun DIY project to engage with kids, especially during the summer? You can make your own chalk using eggshells, hot water, flour, and food coloring. Start by thoroughly washing and drying the eggshells before grinding them into a fine powder using a food processor. Only one tablespoon of eggshell powder is needed to create a chalk stick.

In a separate bowl, combine one teaspoon of hot water and one teaspoon of flour to form a paste. Then, add the eggshell powder and food coloring to the paste, mixing them thoroughly. Shape the mixture into a chalk stick, wrap it in a paper towel strip, and allow it to dry for one to three days. Soon, you’ll have homemade chalk ready for creating colorful sidewalk art.
