Doctors and Dentists
This is such an important reminder! If you’re cheap, one way that you might save money is by avoiding going to the doctor or the dentist until something is undeniably wrong. But if you do that, you might end up spending way more money in the end.

After all, what’s going to cost more in the long run: a colonoscopy now or colon cancer treatment later? (I’ll give you a hint for those who aren’t good at math: it’s the cancer treatment.) This is why a lot of insurance plans cover yearly checkups: they know it will cost them less if they catch things early. Also, this is a good reminder to me that I need to schedule my yearly checkup soon.
