One Man’s Trash Is Another Man’s Treasure
As I started to read this next one, I was ready to get very indignant during the first line. I use plastic grocery bags for trash all the time; I don’t produce that much trash, so if I use a large trash bag, the stuff in the bottom has started to smell before I have managed to fill the bag. A plastic grocery bag is just the right size for me.

Then I kept reading the post, and I realized I had been hasty. The problem is not using the bags; it’s washing them out to reuse them, especially given that in many states, you get them for free from the grocery store! And then storing ice in these washed-out garbage-filled bags—well, all I can say is I don’t think I would trust the sanitation and hygiene of anything in these people’s house, if they think that’s okay.
