Getting Yourself in Hot Water
I am always cold unless it is 102 degrees outside, which means that I have the heat on at my place all the time. So sometimes, when I get my utility bill, the amount that I have to pay for gas is an unpleasant surprise. But I have looked at my budget and decided that this is a sacrifice I can and am willing to make in order to be comfortable in my house.
So really, I do understand disliking having to use hot water at your own home. But I absolutely do not understand what this guy is doing. First, he’s wealthy, so he can definitely afford hot water, which is not that expensive. Second, as a lawyer, he should know better than anyone that his time is worth money, and surely the time he spends transporting himself and all of his stuff to the YMCA outweighs the amount that he would spend on hot water at home.
