Return of the Microwave
This loophole seems like a major fluke, but we’re glad it worked out for this person. One day, they had a battle of wills with their microwave. The trusty kitchen device had given out, so they drove to Best Buy to purchase a new one. However, when they got home they tried plugging in their old microwave to a new outlet. It worked!
Elated, they returned the new microwave to Best Buy. When they got home, their old microwave refused to work again. Can you imagine how frustrated this person must have felt with all the back-and-forth? It all paid off in the end because they trekked back to Best Buy to repurchase a new microwave. Through a total fluke, the store had just put out their recently returned microwave as a half-priced “open box” item. It was like a gift from their past self.
