Paying for toll roads is such a pain in the butt. Sure, the roads are nicer, but is it really worth it? This storyteller is one lucky duck because they found a way to enjoy free toll road trips for almost three years. They just happened to drive through a toll booth that was out of order. When they didn’t receive a charge or ticket, they realized that the booth was totally shut down.

Since the broken toll booth was part of their daily commute, they started driving through it every day. This loophole is one of those rare situations where we’re thankful cities are slow on the uptake.
