To make this delicious cake, gather the following ingredients: one cup of butter, one and one-quarter cups of sugar, one and one-half cups of all-purpose flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, four eggs, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and sifting the flour and baking powder together.
