#22: Swimming in Cosmic Gasses
Saturn and Jupiter’s surfaces aren’t exactly what you would call solid. Unlike somewhere like Mars, which is all red rock as far as the eye can see, or even Venus, which, while it may be dangerously toxic, is actually full of mountains and volcanoes; these two planets are made of different stuff.

Given their atmosphere, Jupiter and Saturn both are nothing but a mixture of gasses and, the further to the center of the planet you get, liquids. The bottom line is, there’s not really anywhere to land on them. You’d mostly be trying to swim through an increasingly thick substance but it will never fully solidify.
