I’m going to be honest with you guys: I have no idea how coal mining works these days. When I think of coal mining, I think about my Cornish ancestors toiling away underground and about that book I read when I was a kid about a town that was haunted by the ghosts of miners who died in a mine collapse.

So I can’t really comment on what it would be like to drive machinery in a coal mine for a living; I would just hope it doesn’t involve any ghosts. What I can comment on is how terrific it would be to make $170,000 a month, even if those are Australian dollars and the conversion rate is not in my favor.
