#19: That’s Random
This next one sounds very random at first, but after giving it some thought, I’m not surprised that there are people who make a living breeding crickets to sell to pet stores; the crickets that they feed to lizards and other animals have to come from somewhere, after all.

What I am surprised to learn is that not only do crickets poop, they produce enough poop that it can be scooped up and sold to be used as fertilizer. Crickets are tiny! How could they possibly be producing that much? I feel like everything I thought I knew about crickets is wrong.
