Extreme Cheapskates
If you’re looking for an example of people who take saving things to the max, look no further than the show Extreme Cheapskates on TLC. According to the show, the average “extreme cheapskate” saves about $40,000 annually by going to extreme lengths to save money. But is it worth it?

One episode even featured a couple who only spent $12 per month on groceries by dumpster diving and eating roadkill. It’s gross but effective, although dangerous too. And let’s not forget the guy who only showers once a month to save on water and electricity. Now that’s what I call tightwad!
