Credit Cards
It looks like America has a love affair with plastic. According to recent statistics, the average American household has about four credit cards. That’s one for every member of the family, including the dog. We love to rack up those reward points, but somehow we always end up using them to buy more stuff we don’t need.

It’s such a vicious cycle! Meanwhile, the average credit card debt per household is around $16,000 and climbing. Yikes! Looks like we should probably start calling our credit cards “debt cards” instead. Just be careful with what you buy, and make sure you only get the credit that you can afford.
