#38: The Power of Percentages
Maybe you don’t find shopping for bargains at the grocery store to be all that useful because you are seeing only small savings: if it used to be $2 and now it’s $1, you’re only saving a dollar. That’s not great! You can find a dollar in loose change in your couch cushions! Or so you think.

If you find yourself in this mindset, you might find this hack useful. If you think of your savings in terms of percentages, it can give you that psychological push to make you really feel like you are accomplishing something and that it is worth continuing.
