Badly Done, Pepsi
I’ve always found it so weird that companies are allowed to trademark certain types of crops. How can you claim to own the right to grow a certain type of potato? And how could Indian farmers growing that type of potato possibly threaten your stranglehold on the potato chip industry?

Most of all, do companies ever think about the PR disaster it’s going to be if word gets out that they are harassing poor Indian farmers who are just trying to make a living? Luckily, I’ve never cared for Lays potato chips, so I’m very comfortable being up on my high horse and saying I don’t intend to eat Lays potato chips anytime soon if this is how they’re going to behave.
