It’s a cheap enough game, but there are exclusive clubs nationwide where the elite gathers to play tennis and network with each other. Usually, the rest of us are just trying to find a court that doesn’t have a massive crack in the middle! I mean, who needs pristine grass courts and personalized coaches?

You can hit the ball with your friends on a public court in the nearest park. One day I’ll be able to afford a membership to one of these fancy clubs. Until then, I’ll just have to settle for watching Wimbledon on TV. Why do many people see tennis as such an elite sport?
