This is a different sort of entry in our list of posts about being frugal versus being cheap; this is just a piece of advice about how to be frugal, and honestly, I think it’s brilliant. I mean, I never use tools, so it’s not that useful in my life, but for any readers who do use tools, I would definitely recommend that you do this.

After all, isn’t it frustrating when you buy something because you need it once and then you never use it again? I try to avoid doing that, but even so, my refrigerator is filled with bottles of weird condiments that are still 95% full. Sometimes you just don’t like that condiment as much as you think you will.
