Frugal=Friendly, Cheap=Chump
Here’s a post that perfectly articulates what I have been saying all this time. Frugality is a positive thing, and people who are frugal are not so fixated on saving money that they don’t think about (or worse, don’t care about) how their choices are negatively affecting other people.

Cheapskates, however, do not care if the things that they are doing are making life more difficult for their family members. They don’t mind if they get a reputation among their friends as being someone who will do anything they can to wriggle out of paying their share.
