Newsflash: we’re not made of money, and we have bills to pay too… And don’t even get me started on the overpriced products and services. It’s like the moment shop owners see you, they jack up the prices by 200%. You might not even seem wealthy, but the second they see you have an Amex, it’s game over…

It’s frustrating, to say the least. But I guess it’s just another reminder that money doesn’t always equate to respect or fairness. On the bright side, at least we have the satisfaction of walking away from an overpriced product and knowing we didn’t fall for it.
