These Unlucky Vacation Stories are Real Life Nightmares

This story is an all-around horrible situation. We really feel for what this person went through. While they were traveling in Vietnam, they got the unfortunate news that their grandpa had passed away. Heartbroken, they had to mourn halfway around the world, far from their family and friends. To make matters worse, they were in a hostel. 

If you’ve ever stayed in a hostel, you know that there’s basically no privacy. This poor person had to cry in front of a bunch of strangers with a simple curtain for privacy. Understandably, they gave their whole hostel experience a “zero out of ten” rating. We’re guessing that they will not be returning for another stay.
