#3: Vertigo is Not the Way to Go
Vertigo is the sudden onset of a spinning or dizzy sensation caused by a problem in the inner ear or brain. If you’re lucky enough to have never experienced this sensation, count yourself as blessed. This person’s mom suffers from vertigo, and she experienced an episode on their very first day of vacation.

Our storyteller and their mom were walking on the street of their first destination when their mom had a sudden vertigo attack. It was so bad that she collapsed in our storyteller’s arms. Terrified, they helped their mom onto a chair until the sensation passed. This was obviously a very stressful situation, especially because they were somewhere far from home. Hopefully their mom didn’t have any further vertigo episodes during their trip.
