These Unlucky Vacation Stories are Real Life Nightmares

No one wants to wake up to a missile alarm, much less people on vacation. This person and their family were jarred awake early in the morning during their 2018 vacation in Hawaii. All the phones in the room were blasting a missile warning, stating that it was not a drill and destruction was imminent. 

Confusion and panic ensued. Nobody wants to die when they’re on vacation! Our storyteller couldn’t find a straight answer as to what was going on because Twitter and other news sites didn’t actually know what was going on, either. As it turns out, the missile alarm was, in fact, a drill. Hawaiian officials said the alarm was triggered by accident and it was a false alarm. Overall, it was quite a chaotic situation.
