You never know when an emergency appendectomy may strike. This storyteller was just a teenager when they had to undergo this emergency operation to get their appendix removed. This is already a pretty stressful experience, but it all happened while they were on a Disney vacation with their entire family. 

It all started with a nagging pain in their side. They brushed it off as a weird strain, but the pain got so bad that they couldn’t ignore it any longer. They ended up going to the urgent care clinic on the Disney cruise ship. Once there, they discovered that they needed an emergency operation. Talk about scary!
