These Unlucky Vacation Stories are Real Life Nightmares

Car wrecks are always scary, but it’s extra scary when injuries are involved. This person was living their best life, staying at a jungle lodge on an island off the coast of Vietnam. They got into a serious motorcycle accident one day while driving around the mountains on the island. Their motorbike’s brakes gave out. They ended up rolling down the side of the mountain and hitting a tree. 

Thankfully, they were able to make it back to their lodge in one piece. Once there, it was clear that serious medical attention was necessary. Their injuries were so bad that they had to have their clothes cut off from their body. They got lucky and lived to tell the tale, but this whole situation could have had a very different outcome.
