#40: Tipping the Scales
If you’re of a certain age, you might remember this type of scale inside grocery stores. It appears to be an antique commercial scale used to weigh produce and other grocery goods. A history lover was able to get their hands on this old scale and fix it up for their personal kitchen.

Even if they don’t use it on a daily basis, it adds a nice charm to the kitchen. Heck, we’re not even sure the average person would know how to read that scale today. This nostalgic kitchen item is just another example of how technology changes with time. Who knows what kinds of gadgets we’ll be using 50 years from now?
