#17: 20/20 Vision Isn’t Always Perfect
The familiar drill: squinting at letters through a blurry lens, hoping not to be the one needing new glasses. We associate eye check-ups with vision health, a quick fix for clearer sight. But what if our eyes hold stories beyond the ability to read letters on a chart? What if a routine check-up is actually more than that?

One individual, boasting 20/20 vision, walked into a routine eye exam unaware of the drama unfolding, not in front of, but within their eyes. The optometrist discovered Pigment Dispersion Syndrome, a rare disease. Thankfully, due to early detection, they were able to avoid blindness. So, if you have 20/20 vision, don’t let that stop you from getting a check-up!
