We often mark our years with special events – relationships, milestones, or places we’ve lived. But sometimes, a year becomes defined by an unexpected medical struggle. That battle casts a long shadow, changing how we remember that period of our lives and shaping the way we reflect on the passage of time.

This person must have felt so frustrated and hopeless, facing months of unexplained pain and worsening health. It’s a relief they finally got the correct diagnosis and treatment.  While recovering from a blood clot sounds far from ideal, thankfully, they’re now on the mend after a difficult year.
