12. Planet of Lost Opportunities
Venus is the second planet closest to the sun after Mercury and the brightest planet in the sky. Once, it may have been earth-like. Since then, it has become a toxic surface that destroyed any crafts we sent there after a bit of time. From what we’ve seen, it might have a yellowish surface though.
Given how bright Venus is, it can cast a shadow on Earth. In fact, it’s the third brightest object in the sky and has even been mistaken for a UFO before! Don’t be fooled; it’s just Venus being Venus. One more fascinating thing to know about it is that it has phases, just like the moon.
